My love for sewing began when I was a high school student and learned to sew my own clothes, which I also later did for my sons. After sewing clothes for years, I was naturally drawn to quilting by the promise of a challenge and a passion for working with the various intricacies of color, fabric, and design. I started piecing countless tops but couldn’t get them quilted, so I moved into long arm machine quilting and finishing services. I have studied under nationally renowned quilting instructors and have a wealth of experience in custom design, binding services, surface quilting, and using quality threads and batting to make quilts shine.
Please note as of June 2025 we are not a pet free environment. A dog resides on the property.
I offer machine quilting on a Nolting Pro 24” longarm located in my tobacco free home. My specialty is custom quilting, and I feel that treating the blocks separate from the sashing and borders defines and brings into focus intricate piecing work.
For those quilters who prefer more traditional patterns, I am happy to provide the finishing services you need to refine your quilted gifts or tops.
Along with my quilting services, I am honored to create customized Memory Bears from clothing worn by lost loved ones. These bears provide much-needed comfort to the grieving and gentle reminders that love is eternal. Please note these bears are not suitable as children’s toys
